It was with great joy that the Lord called me to serve here at Promise Lane Church in the winter of 2022. I grew up under the teaching ministry of Calvary Chapel, where I met my wife of 17 yrs, Sarah Bennett. We have four children ages 8-16, who love Jesus and basketball. I am blessed to see Ephesians 3:20 displayed through my life, as a Cancer survivor whose hope and assurance remain in Jesus Christ.
It is my hope that upon visiting our church, you would find Jesus central to all we are and all we do. And it is my prayer that your relationship with Him would be deepened and become more intimate with Him than the first time you walked through our doors.  

Greetings! My name is Nathaniel Smith, and I am the Director of Youth Ministries here at Promise Lane Church of Franklin. I have been attending this church since 2015 as a youth, youth ministry volunteer, and currently as the full-time Director of Youth Ministries. I had originally intended to become a high school social studies teacher with my college majors of history and education, but God laid it heavily upon my heart in the spring of 2022 to minister to the youth of the Franklin area. I have fervently and faithfully pursued this calling ever since.

I have called Franklin home since 2004 (living in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, before that), and I have been so blessed to enjoy life alongside my lovely wife and best friend Sarah-Jane Smith ever since our wedding in the fall of 2023.

I am honored to serve the King in a way that empowers the next generation of the Church. I seek to guide students along the way in their relationships with God so that they would (1) enjoy God fully as their personal Lord and Savior, (2) live completely to glorify His name, and (3) be equipped as critical thinkers who stand firmly on the truth of His Word.

Hi, I am Deb Beasley. I came to First Alliance Church in 2011 as a new Christian. I began in Children’s Ministry as a volunteer, which inspired me to serve God’s children and enrich my understanding of God’s word. I moved away for 7 years and returned in 2021 to become the Assistant Director of Children’s Ministries. I have also been the art teacher and a teaching assistant at Trimont Christian Academy. I have an associate degree in Leadership and Ministry from Grace Christian University, and two Certificates in Ministry and Biblical Studies from Liberty University. I have been married to Linwood for 38 years. We have one daughter, a son, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren. The Lord has blessed me beyond my own understanding and has led me full circle to now be the Director of Children’s Ministries here at Promise Lane Church (formerly First Alliance Church).

Greetings in Christ!  I am Barry Bacon, and I have been a member of this church for over twenty years, serving as a Sunday School teacher, Elder, and church Treasurer.  I attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, and recently retired from a 48-year career in land surveying, holding professional licenses in North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.  My lovely wife, Karen, and I are blessed with four children and four grandchildren.  It has been my honor and joy to serve my Savior and Lord by joining the church staff in 2024 as “Aaron and Hur” administrative support for the Pastor and ministries of Promise Lane Church.
